This annual festival commemorates the historic event of 1772, when colonists from Pawtuxet Village burned the British revenue schooner, HMS Gaspee, ultimately kicking off the American Revolutionary War. Come and see the Colonial Encampment at Pawtuxet Park, fireworks display, parade, military fashion show and the grand finale-the burning of the Gaspee. Live music and a 5k road race also feature during this event.

Summer Concert Series

Usually held from mid July to mid-August, Warwick's Summer Concert Series features a variety of bands playing at various city parks, including Pawtuxet Park, Conimicut Point Beach, Oakland Beach and at the Goddard State Park carousel.
