The grounds and lighthouse building have been beautifully maintained over the years. The lighthouse was built in 1856, and it stands 46 feet tall. A lightkeeper's house, an oil house, a garage and a fog signal building are all still standing. Some of the buildings are open during the summer months. Inquire locally for further information.
